Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that made buying my first home easy. Everyone I dealt with was quick to answer any questions I had and they always made time to show me the house before and after offer acceptance. I also appreciated the recommendation of a builder, solicitor and surveyor which meant I saved money over finding them myself. I can recommend Wilson to anyone who needs to buy or sell a house.

Wilson Estate Agents was the first agent we contacted about the sale, and from the very first moment we met the valuer, Emma Gilgrass, we knew we would be choosing them to be our agent. Emma was very friendly whilst also very knowledgeable, not only about how to market the property, but also about the area and the type of person the property would attract. The fees were explained in full (and were more reasonable than I was expecting) and we did not feel any pressure to sign up. The other agents we saw were also very good, but none could match the assured confidence and obvious professionalism that Emma displayed without it seeming contrived at all. The suggested value seemed very reasonable to us, given the property required some work to bring it up to date, and the fact that it sold the day after it was put online suggested this was the case. The fact that it sold for the full asking price was the icing on the cake, particularly as other agents had suggested we would struggle to receive considerably less for it. The sale went through faultlessly despite our not living locally and so relying on things to be done via email or online, and Emma and her team (with special praise going to Alicia) kept us updated and handled everything perfectly. We had no prior knowledge of estate agents in the area, but from our experience, if you are looking for a reasonably priced and completely hassle free sale from an agent that definitely understands the market, then Wilson Estate Agents should be the first call you make.
