I have used Scargill Mann many times to find tenants for my properties and they managing all my properties. I have never had any issues form any tenants as they get the right tenants for the properties and they respond very quickly to any queries which may arise. Excellent service, very efficient

Good communication from the staff at Scargill Mann, Jessica Hunt was very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions I had. My property was re-let as soon as my previous tenants vacated so no void in the rent. Very happy with the service, thank you

Awful company that is only interested in the landlord’s interests. They do landlord checks of the property every 3 months which is invasive, on multiple occasions the man who does the checks turned up without our prior knowledge. On the final check, which we were not aware of, he let himself into the property when we were not home and I arrived home at 8 months pregnant to my door wide open and a strange man inside the property which was extremely distressing. We reported several issues which took months to resolve or were not resolved at all. We found out the house was being put on the market for sale when a man turned up to put the for sale sign up. I rang Scargill Mann to find out what was going on, and nobody had any idea. The house was immaculate on our departure, and they tried to take our full deposit for a damaged kitchen worktop that was damaged prior to our tenancy (which they took photographic evidence of 😂). Honestly just a horrendous company to deal with and would not recommend renting a property with them. They made my already stressful pregnancy much more stressful and made me feel unsafe in my own home.

Avoid this company like the plague. They have let my daughter & son in law live in the most disgusting conditions. From mice, to mould, to leaky window seals, a faulty boiler, asbestos & leaks. All of which was never dealt with in a decent time frame by the landlord. Apparently cats cause mould? Cats they new about may i add. If anything cat litter absorbs moisture & helps mould. The flat is terribly outdated on many levels, including a bathroom which the landlord decided to paint the inside of the bath with emulsion rather than replace, a kitchen that wouldn't look out of place in the 70's and a fire uglier than Scargill & Mann's attitude. The final straw for me was a leak in the bathroom they took forever to fix so my daughter slipped in early pregnancy and lost her babies. Now they expect to keep a bond to replace damaged carpets from the leaks they procrastinated fixing & wonder why the flat is mould infested & the carpets stink! Some legal advice is needed I think. They are lucky she didn't sue them for a miscarriage. They can replace the manky flat carpets and wallpaper. You can't replace babies. Absolutely appalling and the three years they resided at the flat they never met the landlord once! We have email evidence and photographs over a three year period & this company doesn't have a leg to stand on because every piece of correspondence, repair & email sent to them was saved & kept for the last three years.
