I rented an apartment in Sheffield for four years that was managed by this agency they have offered a great service with good communication whenever I had a maintenance issue someone would attend within 2 days to a week depending on urgency. They helped me during a difficult time by agreeing to an affordable payment plan to catch up on my rent and they were always honest and fair with me. The rent was reasonable for the location I would recommend renting a property managed by this agency. Thank you again.

Vey poor service and communication...I was booked for a viewing, I turned up 10 minutes early and called them to let them know I was outside. They informed me they were currently viewings, so I would be next in about 10 minutes...I was waiting another 30 minutes outside the house for nothing. Nobody called me or let me know that they're not coming. I strongly don't recommend working with them.

I have rented a house with this agency recently . Everything was very smooth from the viewing of the house to the actual renting the property.The viewing of the house was done by George who I must say was very friendly ,helpful and understanding and answered all our plenty of questions with patience, without rushing anything.Thank you so much , George! Also , Richard -manager , and the other agents of this company are really nice ,treats you with respect and kindness and are very supportive in everything you need before proceeding with all the paperwork .Thank you. Very great company to work with .I definitely recommend!!!

I had an excellent experience with this agency. I just went to look around in Chesterfield as I would like to move to that area soon. I had seen an advertisement earlier and found the house in the town. I thought to call the agency if there was a chance to view the flat. George was very helpful. He offered me to view the flat immediately as he understood that I did not have a chance to go back there soon. He was professional. Later he promptly replied to my email as well. I higly recommend him and this agency.

I rented through Roy Peters in the spring of 2021 and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I have very mild asthma and it's caused me no real problems, I've never even needed an inhaler; so it was surprising and genuinely quite horrifying when I started having severe asthma attacks over and over again. I got an inhaler prescribed for the first time in my life and even then it did very little to help the fact that I could never breathe properly in my flat, and some ways in I started to notice massive amounts of black mould growth. I should probably mention here that I came down with fevers a few times during my period of renting. One day I happen to be speaking to the handyman who happens to mention off hand that the flat had no insulation. It was quite a surprise, considering that no one at Roy Peters ever felt the need to mention this, either directly or via paperwork. You would think that something like this would be somewhat important. Funnily enough: Shortly after my moving out I noticed that they had workmen around, fitting insulation, so I'm guessing that they knew this to be a problem. Oh, another point: Following my moving out they kept a tight grip on my deposit for several months, despite my constant requests. Funnily enough, the moment I brought up that a family member was a solicitor I immediately received my deposit. I consider this a good example of their moral character. I'll close this review by showing some pictures I took shortly before my moving out (please remember that my tenancy was during spring, that's how bad the damp was.) Thank you Roy Peters, what a classy agency you turned out to be.
