Emma Cocker helped me through renting my first ever apartment, and I must say she is a credit to her team. She helped me through some confusing points about renting and was always extremely quick to reply, making my renting experience smooth and stress free. I would recommend Hannells and especially Emma for anyone wanting an easy renting experience.

Never, ever, ever trust this business with your property! I am completely bewildered as to how this company is still managing to operate with such a poor mindset, and total lack of integrity. I have given this company my hard earned money for the last 3 or so years now, in order for them to look after, and ensure my property is maintained as per the standard is was entrusted to them. On numerous occasions I have been completely let down by poor, or no communication regarding incidents, or damages that have occurred in my property whilst under the care of Hannells. The attitude from some of the staff at Hannells is truly shocking, unprofessional, and begs belief to be honest. To be told by one of their team they had over 20 years experience, is the 8th wonder of the world, as that statement has surely not been evident in my situation. You pay them money to manage your property, and irrespective of what, or how damage occurs, it's your problem, and it is swept to one side. I have never in my life been so disappointed, and shocked as I have during my unfortunate time working with this company. So today I finally received a decision from DPS regarding damages to my property which were sustained whilst it was under the care of Hannells. The decision was nothing was to be awarded to myself, despite submitting clear evidence of damage and neglect to my property. They had even managed to pull a sink off the unit? Paint themselves, where the drips were that thick, they will have to be sanded off before repainting can take place. Bewildered doesn't come close to how a company can take your money, receive a decision like this, and not even have the common decency to give you a courtesy call. Unbelievable!

Sitting on an empty property for the first time in 11 years, I contacted Hannells for both a valuation to sell and an asessment for rental income. The first thing to impress was that both agents were able to come over at the same time, both turned up on time and both were able to give me a clear idea of the local market and most important, what I needed to do to realise the potential. As soon as I signed up for lettings I was kept informed and we agreed a date for completion of works and commencement of marketing., My side of it slipped a week but this was handled without issue. Upon commencement of marketing, a date was set for initial viewings and all credit to Hannells, the morning was booked solid, my requirements regarding pets etc were met and by mid-afternoon I had a list of potential tenants. Contact with Mya my lettings negotiato has been nothing but a joy, kept informed throughout and my phone calls were always answered. Happy to recommend, yes, they charge for what they do but at this early stage I appear to have exactly the sort of professional tenants I wanted and their knowledge of the local market means I'm realising a 30% increase in income.

Hi, hope you find this useful. Just had the completion of a property sale in Derby. It's turned out to be the longest sale ever, just over 1 year to get it completed from excepting the offer to completion. Hannells have been absolutely brilliant. The time scale was purely down to Probate, then the chain collaped. Hannells have just been there all the way along with vital communication. So a big Thank you to Debbie & Aaron @ Chellaston.
