I see there's a lot of comments here about Blue I cherry picking people's deposits and I can 100% relate. I was going to give these guys a good review but unfortunately I can't because they've taken over £300 off our deposit despite the fact myself and my housemate took days off work to clean the house to make sure it was all good for the next tenants. They clearly don't mind how expensive the cleaners are because it's your money being spent. As someone whose worked in the cleaning industry (and has close connections that own cleaning companies) I can confidently say they're being ripped off which means it's YOUR money that's being thrown down the drain. I've paid less for yearly car insurance. Please see my photos attached to understand the state at which we left the property...

I cannot praise Blue i enough for the brilliant service and amazing care I have received over the last year. They were always eager to offer quick solutions to general wear-and-tear of the property, and have a great network of contractors that are able to fix the tiniest of issues with short notice (I never waited more than a week for someone to pop round!). From getting our keys all the way to handing them back in, every member of staff both I and my family have spoken to has been nothing but accommodating, caring, and incredibly understanding of the situation I found myself in - and they have always responded incredibly fast. They have been absolute stars in the past two months, after personal reasons meant I was no longer able to keep up my end of the tenancy renewal and therefore pulled out. Diane and her Husband (So sorry, I don't know his name!), who run Blue i have seemingly stopped at nothing to get viewings booked in and secure new tenants to take over. They obviously care deeply about what they do, and it shows in both their outstanding customer service and the maintenance of the beautiful properties they manage - By far the best letting agents I have dealt with during my time in Derby, and I wish them all nothing but the absolute best in the future! I have been with Blue I Properties for one year, and the service has been outstanding! Diane and her team are the most lovely people to deal with—always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They made everything smooth and stress-free. Diane has been wonderful! I was with Bluei for two years and Diane was my first point of contact for the majority of that period. She is a delight to work with, fair, understanding, and efficient. Any time I raised concerns she was understanding and prompt to deal with it. The moving out process was so easy and straight forward and the check out appointment was easy to set up, meaning I recieved my deposit back very quickly. I can't praise Diane enough for help and professionalism throughout my tenancy.

Now that we’re safely moved out and away from these people I feel confident in telling the public what an awful experience we had with this company and its gang of felons. Countless times they would send around people to our house without telling us, one morning I even woke up to a man at my bedroom door, so he had come into the house without anyone knowing and then came to my bedroom and when confronted he said he was sent by Blue i to do some work. Countless times I confronted this company about how this is illegal and every time this company would threaten me and the tenants with a mysterious water bill saying we had used too much water and that we needed to pay £400, this was only ever brought up when we had a problem with the company, and evidence of such bill could never be provided to us, safe to say after we moved out we never heard about this mysterious water bill ever again. We also had a bit of a mould problem at the property, and instead of resolving the issue as a landlord is legally obligated too, we were instructed via email to go and buy a bottle of anti mould spray from the shop, and that the landlord would sort the mould out when we moved out, not while WE WERE LIVING THERE, absolutely ridiculous. Then there was the time where one of the living room windows fell out due to faulty supports and so Blue i came and boarded it up… AFTER A WEEK… and with wooden planks. To everyone reading this for the love of god if you treasure your safety and sanity do not go with this awful company, if I didn’t have such a busy lifestyle I would have taken legal action against this company, even with them threatening us with a mysterious bill that obviously never existed.
